Mountain Home School District Facebook Upcoming Events Welcome January Newsletter: Hello Parents, We hope everyone had a wonderful Winter Break. Our teachers were back today preparing for second semester and the arrival of our students tomorrow, January 7 th . Students will pick-up their 2 nd semester schedules from their 1 st semester 1 st hour teacher. So, at the 7:40 bell, they will head to their 1 st semester 1 st hour teacher’s room to get their new schedule. We will be on our regular bell schedule, 7:50-2:55, on January 7 th . We ended first semester with a student recognition assembly. Along with recognizing several of our students, we participated in activities planned by our Leadership class, which included our Crazy Christmas Sweater Contest. During 2 nd hour, students voted for the winners of the contest. For our student recognition, teachers recommended students for excellence in the following areas: Most Improved Academically from 1 st to 2 nd quarter Most Outstanding in Academics and Subject areas Best Demonstrated The Tiger Way” by being Responsible, Respectful, and Ready We are looking forward to another successful semester. Here’s what’s ahead for January: Boys Basketball tryouts start Jan. 7 th . Tryouts will run from 3:30-5:30. First game Jan. 22 nd vs. TVCS. 8 th grade home/ 7 th grade away Tuesday, January 7 th . First day back for students.
